Luminaires intended for use in potentially explosive environments are those that can be operated in environments with increased concentrations of explosive gases, vapours, or dust. These luminaires must be designed and constructed in such a way that under normal operating conditions there is no risk of explosion, for example due to the high operating temperature of the equipment or sparking in the electrical circuit.

PRIMA LED Ex 2/21 luminaires are certified for environments with increased risk of explosion due to airborne dust, and meet the highest standards for occupational safety in such environments. All luminaires are thoroughly tested to ensure safety, reliability and durability even in the most demanding environments.
